Soll die Bachelorarbeit im Fach Biologie geschrieben werden, müssen die Studierenden ein thematisch passendes Projektmodul absolvieren. Im Zuge dessen sollen sie an das Arbeiten in der Forschung und das wissenschaftliche Schreiben herangeführt werden. Die Veranstaltungen, das "Projektmodul Biologie-hautnah" können zur Vorbereitung einer Bachelorarbeit dienen. Beispielsweise ist es denkbar in diesem Modul Unterrichtseinheiten zu entwickeln, die im Rahmen einer Bachelorarbeit evaluiert werden. Im Rahmen dieses Projektmodules gibt es eine Fülle von Projekten in denen das Projektmodul verankert und zu einer Bachelorarbeit ausgearbeitet werden kann.
