Die Wissenschaft ist von zentraler Bedeutung für die Gesellschaft. Wie die Gesellschaft über Wissenschaft und Wissenschaftler*innen denkt, wird maßgeblich durch kommunikative Prozesse beeinflusst. Und auch die individuelle Karriere im Wissenschaftsbetrieb ist nicht alleine von der Qualität der Wissenschaft abhängig. Gute Kommunikation ist heutzutage ein wirkungsvolles Werkzeug – zum Wohle der Wissenschaft und der eigenen Wissenschaftskarriere. Es lohnt sich, die zielgruppenspezifische Ansprache gegenüber wichtigen Stakeholdern wie der Politik, den Medien aber auch der eigenen Scientific Community zu verbessern. Der eintägige Workshop "Wissenschaftskommunikation" vermittelt ein grundlegendes Verständnis zeitgemäßer Wissenschaftskommunikation und erläutert wesentliche Dos und Don'ts.
