Im Wortschatz besteht ein kontinuierlicher Bedarf an Bezeichnung und Modifizierung (Nomination). Folgende fünf wichtige Prozesse der Erweiterung des Wortschatzes sollen im Seminar am Beispiel des Deutschen betrachtet werden: Wortschöpfung, Bedeutungswandel, Entlehnung (Anglizismen), Phraseologisierung und - mit einem deutlichen Schwerpunkt - Wortbildung.

Die Klausur im BA Modul 2 wird unmittelbar nach Ende der Vorlesungszeit angeboten, sie umfasst den Grundkurs Linguistik und dieses Vertiefungsseminar.
