Students who have to write in English for any of their courses, as well as those who are writing (or are thinking about writing) a thesis or dissertation in English, are invited to attend.

This course is open to all language levels, but a B2 level or higher is recommended.

• Hedging your writing
• Citation systems (MLA, APA, Chicago, etc.)
• Finding the right tone for your writing
• Writing in the passive voice (when and why to do it, or not)
• Using the right punctuation (including commas!)

• The advantages and disadvantages of text generative AI

We will also discuss aspects relevant to writing longer works in English, such as writing abstracts and overcoming writer's block.
