Dieses Masterseminar führt in die formale Semantik und Pragmatik ein. Wir verwenden Ansätze aus der dynamischen Semantik, um ausgehend von klassischen semantischen Fragestellungen folgende sprachlichen Phänomene zu behandeln: Anaphorik im Diskurs, Präsuppositionen, Implikaturen, Diskursrelationen, Informationsstruktur und Questions under Discussion (QuDs) sowie die Modellierung von Dialogstruktur.

Grundkenntnisse in Semantik und Pragmatik sowie formalen Methoden werden empfohlen.

Literatur wird in der ersten Sitzung angegeben und in einem zur Veranstaltung eingerichteten Moodle zur Verfügung gestellt.

Dieses Masterseminar wird ergänzt durch Analyseaufgaben, die in Gruppenarbeiten von bis zu drei Studierenden erfolgen können. Für den Erhalt einer Studienleistung müssen mindestens sechs Lösungen zu Analyseaufgaben eingereicht werden. Die Verteilung der Aufgaben wird in der ersten Sitzung besprochen.
Eine modulübergreifende Prüfungsleistung kann durch eine Hausarbeit erworben werden, die einen Seminarinhalt vertieft.
