The seminar is intended for master students with a solid background in high-dimensional statistics or probability. It will take place as a block seminar towards the end of the semester.

The goal is to discuss recent topics in high-dimensional statistics and probability. Particular areas of focus include:

1) Inference in high- and infinite-dimensional statistical models
2) Nonasymptotic random matrix theory with applications to signal processing
3) Random matrix theory with applications to deep learning
4) Manifold learning and topological data analysis
