360031 Kirche und Diktatur (BS) (WiSe 2023/2024)

Die Geschichte der Kirche ist auch eine Geschichte der verfolgten und unterdrückten Kirche. In Zusammenarbeit mit dem russlanddeutschen Museum in Detmold untersuchen wir am Beispiel der russlanddeutschen Kirchengeschichte wie sich Kirche in Zeiten der Verfolgung und Unterdrückung verhalten hat, welche Rolle der Staat spielte, welchen Repressalien die verschieden Frömmigkeitsbewegungen ausgesetzt waren und wie die Christen sich im Untergrund organisierten und formierten. Hierbei soll ein Vergleich und Parallelen erarbeitet werden, wie Kirche unter der Diktatur des Stalin- und Hitlerregimes Widerstand leisteten. Der erste Termin soll im Museum stattfinden. Vorort wird eine Führung stattfinden, anschließend wird an einzigartigen von dem Museum zur Verfügung gestellten Exponaten, Karten und Literatur gearbeitet. Die Ergebnisse sollen in aktuelle Forschungen auf dem Gebiet einfließen.
