Die beiden letzten im Münsteraner Unrast Verlag erschienenen Bücher von Bell Hooks, der nordamerikanischen Literaturwissenschaftlerin und Feministin Gloria Watkins, könnten als Beiträge zur Identitätsdebatte gelesen werden. Was macht aber die Biographie einer Lehrperson für die Praxis des Unterrichtens aus? Und - ist eine Erziehung zur Identität ein Beitrag zu einer emanzipatorischen Pädagogik? Einzelne Kapitel aus dem Buch von Bell Hooks: Dazugehören, Münster 2022, werden gemeinsam gelesen und diskutiert.
Gefragt wird auch, ob die Autorin Anregungen für einen intersektionalen Pädagogikunterricht bietet und Hinweise für ein reflektiertes Verhältnis von Lehrperson zum Educanden sowie zum Lehr-Lern-Geschehen hat.
