Wir starten mit einer Einführung in das Feld der inter- und transnational vergleichenden Erziehungswissenschaft. Darauf aufbauend sollen die Studierenden einen Überblick über die Entwicklungen und Umsetzungsmöglichkeiten von Inklusion in ausgewählten europäischen Schulsystemen erhalten. Wir werden uns die Schulsysteme, die kulturellen, sozio-politischen und rechtlichen Spezifika ausgewählter europäischer Länder genauer ansehen und diskutieren.

Die Studierenden werden in die Lage versetzt, die Möglichkeiten des Neo-Institutionalismus als eine Variante des internationalen Vergleichs, zunutze zu machen, seine Möglichkeiten und Funktionen herauszuarbeiten, zu diskutieren und zu hinterfragen. In Kleingruppen werden sie angeleitet, eigene Vergleiche anzustellen und die Funktionen ausgewählter Schulsysteme sowie die inklusive Schul- und Unterrichtsentwicklung aus vergleichender Sicht zu reflektieren.
