206002 Aufbaumodul Molekularbiologie (Genetik) (Ü+V) (WiSe 2013/2014)

In diesem Modul werden die theoretischen und praktischen Grundlagen der Genetik, Mikrobiologie, Molekularbiologie und Genomforschung vermittelt. Aufbauend auf die im Basismodul Theorie I gegebene Einführung in die allgemeine und molekulare Genetik, und als Basis für vertiefende Studien in nachfolgenden Modulen, wird die allgemeine und molekulare Genetik der Pro- und Eukaryoten dargestellt. Neben theoretischen Kenntnissen wird vor allem das Spektrum der praktischen Fähigkeiten erweitert. Die Grundlagen der experimentellen Laborarbeit werden vertieft und weitere molekularbiologische und genetische Methoden erlernt. Anhand von englischsprachigen Arbeiten aus der Molekularbiologie und Genetik werden Textverständnis, kritische Auseinandersetzung mit den Daten sowie Methoden der Aufarbeitung und Präsentation vermittelt und bei der Erstellung eines eigenen Vortrags angewandt.
