Im Anschluss an eine Sichtung des Kunstbüchermarktes für Kinder werden exemplarische Untersuchungen zu zugrunde liegenden pädagogischen und fachspezifischen Vorstellungen bzw. Konzeptionen durchgeführt. Dabei sollen von den Studierenden Gütekriterien entwickelt werden, die sich an zeitgemäßen didaktischen Leitlinien ästhetischer Erziehung orientieren. Diese werden auf von den TeilnehmerInnen ausgewählte Kunstbücher für Kinder anwendet. Die Vorstellung selbst verfasster Rezensionen sowie die gemeinsame Reflexion des jeweiligen Potentials für die Entwicklung von Unterrichtsideen schließen die Veranstaltung ab.
