Die Vorlesung soll einen anwendungsorientierten Überblick über die Forschungsmethoden in der Erziehungswissenschaft vermitteln. Dazu werden wir uns mit den folgenden Fragen auseinandersetzen: Welche Fragestellungen werden im empirischen Forschungsprojekten bearbeitet? Was sind Hypothesen und welche Rolle spielen sie im Forschungsprozess? Wie werden Daten erhoben? Was versteht man unter Datenauswertung? Was sagen uns die Ergebnisse statistischer Berechnungen?
Im Zentrum dieser Veranstaltung stehen quantifizierende Verfahren der empirischen Sozialforschung.
