Sexualität spielt in vielen Handlungsfeldern sozialer und pädagogischer Arbeit eine Rolle. Im Seminar setzen wir uns vor allem mit den Themen Sexualität und Gesundheit, Sexarbeit, sexualisierte Gewalt, Sexualberatung, Sexualpädagogik sowie sexuelle und geschlechtliche Vielfalt im Kontext sozialer und pädagogischer Arbeit auseinander. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, unterschiedliche Beratungsstellen mit ihren Beratungs- und Präventionsangeboten kennenzulernen. Die Mitarbeiter*innen der Aidshilfe, der pro familia Bielefeld, des Gesundheitsamtes, Mosaik / Mädchentreff Bielefeld, ,Wildwasser Bielefeld u.a. stellen ihre Beratungs- und Präventionskonzepte, die spezifischen Problemlagen der Beratungsuchenden, die jeweiligen gesellschaftlichen Diskurse und die gesetzlichen Rahmenbedingungen der Arbeit zur Diskussion. Thematisiert wird auch das Spannungsfeld "Selbstorganisation / Professionalität / freiwilliges Engagement / aktivistische Bewegungen".
