Das Modul ermöglicht es Studierenden, zentrale Dimensionen und Konzepte von Diversität und Teilhabe im Bereich Gesundheit und Versorgung kennenzulernen. Sie können grundlegende Aspekte von Diversität, Gesundheit und Krankheit benennen, erläutern und differenzieren. Sie sind außerdem in der Lage, diese auf Beispiele aus der Praxis von Mediziner*innen zu übertragen.


Das Seminar vermittelt grundlegende Kenntnisse über Konzepte von Gesundheit und Krankheit sowie Theorien zu Diversität. Dazu zählen zentrale Grundbegriffe wie Heterogenität und Gleichheit, Geschlecht und Gender, Körper und Behinderung, Migration und Transnationalisierung, aber auch globale Gerechtigkeit und internationale Konventionen mit Blick auf soziale Behinderung, Frauen, Migration und Mobilität, Flucht und Zwangsmigration, Kindheit und Alter.
