Inhalte des Seminars: Unmotivierte Lernerinnen und Lerner sind das Schreckensbild aller Lehrenden, gleichgültig ob sie in der Schule, im Bereich der Weiterbildung von Erwachsenen oder auch an der Universität tätig sind.
Wie aber können Lernende motiviert werden und was demotiviert sie? Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung soll diesen Fragen nachgegangen werden, indem ausgewählte Ansätze aus der Motivationsforschung vorgestellt und unter dem Aspekt der aus ihnen ableitbaren Folgerungen für die Motivförderung diskutiert werden.
Um die Teilnehmenden auch etwas allgemeiner in die Pädagogische Psychologie einzuführen, werden ergänzend die mit der Lernmotivationsforschung verwandten Themen der akademischen Emotionen, des Selbstkonzepts und der psychologischen Perspektiven in der Unterrichtsforschung angesprochen.

Die Veranstaltung findet als Präsenzseminar in einem wöchentlichen Rhythmus statt.

Studienleistung: Gestaltung und Moderation eines Teils einer Seminarsitzung (allein oder in Kleingruppe)
Modulprüfung: kurze Hausarbeit im Umfang von 1000 bis 1200 Wörtern (Gegenstand: Entwurf zu einer empirischen Untersuchung zum Themenbereich, für den auch die Studienleistung erbracht wurde.)
