Dieses Masterseminar führt in die formale Semantik und Pragmatik ein. Wir verwenden Ansätze aus der dynamischen Semantik, um ausgehend von klassischen semantischen Fragestellungen folgende sprachlichen Phänomene zu behandeln: Anaphorik im Diskurs, Präsuppositionen, Implikaturen, Diskursrelationen, Informationsstruktur und Questions under Discussion sowie die Modellierung von Dialogstruktur.

Dieses Masterseminar hat das Format einer Vorlesung ergänzt durch Analyseaufgaben, die in Gruppenarbeiten von bis zu drei Studierenden erfolgen können (empfohlen). Jede Arbeitsgruppe muss mindestens sechs Lösungen zu Analyseaufgaben im Semester einreichen. Die Verteilung der Aufgaben wird in der ersten Sitzung besprochen.

Die Veranstaltung besteht aus einem asynchronen Teil, der in Form von Vorlesungsvideos über Panopto angeboten wird. Die synchronen wöchentlichen Treffen dienen der Klärung von Fragen und der Präsentation von Lösungen zu den Analyseaufgaben aus den Gruppenarbeiten.
