‚Partizipation‘ gilt – auch, aber nicht nur in (sozial)pädagogischen Kontexten – allgemein als etwas, das gut und anzustreben ist. Dies ist u.a. darin begründet, dass Partizipation eine demokratische Teilhabe der Adressat*innen verspricht. Verbunden damit ist nicht selten ein ‚Übersehen‘ von Machteffekten, die mit der Aufforderung zur Partizipation verbunden sind.
Wir werden uns im Seminar mit Vorstellungen von Partizipation als demokratischer Praxis ebenso befassen wie mit der Frage, auf welche Weise ‚Partizipation‘ Machtwirkungen zeitigt. Dabei geht es um die Annäherung an eine machtsensible Perspektive, die eine Orientierung an demokratischer Teilhabe beibehält, ohne die Machteffekte partizipativer Praxis zu leugnen.Studienleistungen können durch kurze Beiträge zum Seminar erworben werden.
