Diese Lehrveranstaltung vermittelt Grundlagen explorativer und schließender Statistik. Die Inhalte umfassen unter Anderem Histogramme, Kerndichteschätzung, Maximum Likelihood Theorie, Konfidenzintervalle, statistische Tests und die Grundidee von Bootstrap. Die Konzepte werden auch praktisch am Rechner (mit R) illustriert. Die Vorlesung wird durch eine Übung begleitet.
