You’re searching for something. When you find it, it’s going to keep your thoughts flowing on paper, end the frozen pause in your conversation, strengthen, stretch and widen your means of expression, or finally allow you to make your point. You’re looking for a word.
Along with learning new vocabulary, such as words and their meanings within various familiar thematic contexts, students of this course will also be given information on how English words can be purposely manipulated in order to change their function and meaning within the context of a sentence. Using a variation of methods and approaches, this course will provide strategies for furthering language acquisition and expression that are relevant to professional, academic and casual communications at the advanced level.
