Im Kontext von integrativer und inklusiver Unterrichtsgestaltung gewinnt die Diskussion über den Umgang mit Vielfalt und Heterogenität der Schüler stetig an Bedeutung. Im Mittelpunkt dieses Seminars steht die Frage, ob Heterogenität in der Schule als Hindernis oder als Chance zu begreifen ist. Im Anschluss an einen Überblick über mögliche Differenzlinien richtet sich der Fokus exemplarisch auf Kinder mit sog. geistiger Behinderung in der Schule. Dabei wird der gesellschaftliche Umgang damit in den Blick genommen. Die Auseinandersetzung mit Unkenntnis, Vorurteilen und Ängsten in der Gesellschaft wird thematisiert.
Schließlich werden die Konsequenzen für die Unterrichtsgestaltung beleuchtet und diskutiert.
Im Seminar soll Raum entstehen für den Austausch und die Auseinandersetzung mit eigenen Erfahrungen und Sichtweisen.
