This seminar connects with the Introduction to Interdisciplinary Theories of InterAmerican Studies at the very beginning of the semester. On the basis of InterAmerican approaches, the participants of the course will elaborate a media project on an Inter-American research subject. The project is group work and will be presented at February 5th, 2019, at the Colloquium of InterAmerican Studies. During the semester, the participants will do research about an Inter-American issue of their own choice and instead of presenting the results in an academic way (oral presentation or written paper) they will experiment with strategies of media communication, such as hypertext (web site), podcast (radio feature), a short documentary film, a youTube channel etc. At the beginning of the semester there will be an introduction to digital, audio and visual productions.

Beginning of the course: second week of the semester.
