In dieser Einführungsveranstaltung geht es um die Erschließung grundlegender pädagogischer (und psychologischer) Handlungsfelder rund um das Thema Grundschule. Theorie und Praxis werden dabei eng miteinander verzahnt und wechselseitig aufeinander bezogen und reflektiert. Das Einführungsseminar führt dabei in grundlegende Theorien und Konzepte zur Institution der Grundschule, zum Grundschulunterricht, zur Profession der Grundschullehrkraft und zum Verständnis von Kindheit im gesellschaftlichen Wandel ein. Folgende Fragen werden dabei erarbeitet: "Was ist eine gute Grundschule?", "Welche Anforderungen werden heute an Schule gestellt?", "Was ist guter Unterricht?", "Welche Qualifikationen und welches Wissen brauchen Lehrerinnen und Lehrer dafür?", "Wie hat sich die Grundschule zu einer Schule für alle Kinder entwickelt und wie wird sie diesem Anspruch gerecht?".
