Das Seminar „Bibelkunde Altes Testament – elementar“ richtet sich, wie der Name sagt, an Studierende und Interessierte ohne Vorkenntnisse und stellt den Versuch dar, innerhalb eines Semesters mit den zentralen Personen und Erzählzusammenhängen der alttestamentlichen Schriften vertraut zu machen.
Neben anschaulichen Übersichten über Aufbau und Struktur der einzelnen biblischen Bücher sowie zahlreichen Hintergrundinformationen, die zum Verständnis vieler alttestamentlicher Passagen unverzichtbar sind, wird es in diesem Seminar deshalb in erster Linie darum gehen, möglichst viel in der Bibel zu lesen. Das Seminar „Bibelkunde Altes Testament – elementar“ versteht sich dabei als anleitende Lesehilfe, die Lust machen möchte, sich gemeinsam auf die literarischen Spuren so spannender Figuren wie Abraham, Jakob, Mose, Rut, David, Jona oder auch Hiob zu begeben.
