This course is aimed as an introduction to carrying out phonetic and prosodic analyses using Machine Learning. The class will be a combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on sessions based on research data. The target students should be familiar with the fundamentals of phonetics (e.g. Formants, F0, intensity). We will analyze these parameters by means of supervised and unsupervised Machine Learning algorithms.
The class will take place face-to-face.
The course contents will be provided in the course outline in the first meeting.
