Das Seminar beschäftigt sich mit der Physiologie der funktionellen Rückkopplungskreise im sensomotorischen System des Menschen. Zum Verständnis des komplexen Zusammenspiels von Muskel- und Nervensystem wird die funktionelle Anatomie und Physiologie des motorischen Systems im zentralen Nervensystem, des peripheren Nervensystems sowie des Skelettmuskelsys-tems besprochen.
Im Mittelpunkt stehen hierbei unter anderem Transmittersysteme, nerval-muskuläre Steuerungsmechanismen, intramuskuläre Stoffwechselprozesse oder Wechselwirkung von Hormonen im Skelettmuskelsystem.
Konkrete Beispiele aus Rehabilitation und Training vervollständigen die Seminarinhalte und beschreiben Möglichkeiten für Anwendungen.
