In this course you will learn about teaching methods, diagnosis, fostering, differentiation and assessment of performance. Furthermore you will get to know the concepts of the “Luisenschule” and the “Laborschule” through day projects. They will take part on two Fridays during the semester from 8 - 2 o' clock p.m.. You will make a tour around the schools and take part in English lessons.
You'll make a placement including observation tasks. This will take part in the semester break in one of the above mentioned schools. In order to make you practically fit you will plan your own lesson/s. That means you’ll have to think about and operate with the above mentioned aspects. Finally you’ll do the lessons during your placement and write a report about it.

In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
