Individual text interpretation functions to illustrate major literary developments from transcendentalism to postmodernism. Key concepts, major literary developments, and a selection of important authors are at the center of attention. Class requirements are active participation including journal entries for each primary text and a final exam ( graded for old BA students). All registered students will receive an email about the reading assignments to be completed before the intensive course starts.
