Don't be ashamed of your English. Few people have the time and discipline needed to regularly learn new English vocabulary alone. And even if you are the disciplined, studious type, how can you be certain that words and phrases are being used correctly in various contexts?
Along with learning new vocabulary, such as words, phrases and their meanings in practical, real-world situations, students of this course will also be given information on how English words can be purposely manipulated in order to change their function within a sentence, while also maintaining the intended meaning. Using the context of current events and news-worthy issues, students will recognize and examine commonly used words and phrases, evaluate them in various situational contexts, and practice using them in order to add depth, precision and fluency to their English-language communication.
