This course is taught in English.
The topics covered are: Brief introductions to quantum mechanics (wave mechanics, angular momentum), H atom, H atom in extrernal fields, light matter interaction, He atom, many electron atoms and the periodic table, simple molecules and molecular excitations, spectroscopy methods.
Administration of this course is organized completely via the platform "LernraumPlus".

On the left side of the corresponding webpage you will find a link "LernraumPlus". Allocation of the full number of ECTS points (10) requires active participation and passing an oral exam (30-40 min) after the lecturing period.
Active participation means: Preparation of at least 50% of the homework assignments for presentation in the tutorial groups, presentation of solution done at least twice, and completion of online quizzes.
