Das Seminar Öffentliche Kommunikation umfasst im Wesentlichen Aspekte der Kommunikation mit und in öffentlichen Medien, die der kulturellen oder der politischen Kommunikation dienen. Untersuchungsgegenstände sind neben einschlägigen Printmedien auch Formen der medialen Inszenierung von politischen Entscheidungsprozessen. Nach einer Einführung in Grundbegriffe und Theorien aus Linguistik und Medienwissenschaft, die für die Betrachtung der öffentlichen Kommunikation unerlässlich sind, werden typische aktuelle mediale Ereignisse aus den Bereichen Printmedien, Fernsehen, Radio und Internet betrachtet und analysiert. Ziel des Seminars ist es, sowohl eine fundierte theoretische Basis für die Beschäftigung mit öffentlicher Kommunikation zu schaffen als auch anschauliche Beispielanalysen vorzuführen bzw. gemeinsam zu erarbeiten. Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf linguistischer (nicht medienwissenschaftlicher) Analyse im weitesten Sinne.
"Kurs A" und "Kurs B" sind rein formale Unterscheidungen: Das selbe Gebiet wird abgedeckt, also müssen Sie nicht A und B belegen
