Dilemmata kollektiven Handelns sind von jeher ein zentrales Thema in verschiedenen sozialwissenschaftlichen Disziplinen und in der interdisziplinären Organisationsforschung gewesen.
Die Organisationssoziologie scheint dieses Thema allerdings seit geraumer Zeit ein wenig aus den Augen verloren zu haben. Im Seminar werden wir uns einerseits um ein elementares Verständnis sozialer Dilemmata bemühen und zu diesem Zwecke eine Reihe klassischer Texte rezipieren. Andererseits werden wir aktuellere Forschungen diskutieren, die im Rahmen von Dilemmaforschung Themen verfolgen, die von grundsätzlichem organisationssoziologischem Interesse sind. Schließlich werden wir Möglichkeiten prüfen, Dilemmaforschung und zeitgenössische Ansätze in der Organisationssoziologie in ein produktives Verhältnis zueinander zu setzen.
