In dieser Übung beschäftigen wir uns mit dem Körper und seinen Sichtbarkeiten. Kaum etwas ist konkret und kompliziert zugleich wie ein Körper: So gibt es u.a. menschliche, tierische, uneindeutige, digitale, Text-, Bildkörper. Körper sind sowohl Subjekte, die gesellschaftliche Funktionen einnehmen, sich in verschiedensten Dispositiven situieren und unterschiedlichen Zugang zu gesellschaftlichen Ressourcen erwerben, als auch Objekte und Medien. Mit Foucault gesprochen sind Körper stets von Macht berührt und durchwirkt. Gleichzeitig tun Körper etwas und bringen in diesen vielfältigen Formen des doing body die Spezifik des jeweiligen Körpers als Menschlichem etc. zuallererst hervor, in dem sie diesen Körper haben als auch sind. Sichtbarkeit ist ein wirkmächtiger Teil dieser Realisation.
In dieser „Leibesübung“, die neben der Einführung an vier Blockterminen stattfindet, werden wir uns mit Theorien und Geschichte zum Körpers beschäftigen. Dazu nehmen wir Repräsentationen des politischen, vergeschlechtlichten, digitalen und uneindeutigen Körper in den Blick. Vorgesehen ist ein Besuch in der Kunsthalle.
