Unter den bedeutenden europäischen Kunstmetropolen nimmt Venedig einen besonderen Platz ein. So entwickelte sich die Stadt in Renaissance und Barock zu einem der bedeutendsten Zentren der abendländischen Kunst, Musik und Architektur. Seit 1895 hat sich die Biennale zum Treffpunkt für Künstler*innen und Kunstliebhaber*innen aus aller Welt entwickelt und trägt maßgeblich zum Ruf Venedigs als Kunststadt bei. Während der mehrtägigen Exkursion werden wir dem Mythos der Lagunenstadt nachgehen, uns mit ausgewählten künstlerischen Positionen der aktuellen Biennale auseinandersetzen und Perspektiven für die Kunst- und Kulturvermittlung ausloten.
