Event-based processing using spiking neural networks promises increased energy efficiency using the human brain as a paragon. The goal of the project is to explore and design spiking neural network models for increasing the efficiency of the Gesture Recognition task. Using the available dataset, you will create a working demonstrator for the gesture recognition task using the bio-inspired event-based camera.
In case the proposal would not attract enough students for a team project, it can be adapted into an individual project or a project for two students (tandem project).
