The course aims to:
Expand your general English language skills with English for business and employment by providing opportunities to
• develop your comprehension of business terms and economic concepts related to employment
• focus on business functions such as social English, presentations, meetings, and negotiations

Skills development

Students are to develop their skills in:
• Reading - business publications, including charts and graphs
• Speaking - discussing business and employment issues
• Presenting - a business or employment topic of their choice
• Writing - profiles of companies and careers in their field
• Listening - to online videos, including Business English topics and videos of presentations about various business topics

Requirements for participation, required level

Successful completion of a A2-level course or C-Test of the Language Center (for dates please see http://www.uni-bielefeld.de/fachsprachenzentrum/tests_and_certs/placement.html)
