Das Seminar bietet eine Begleitung, Vertiefung und Ergänzung der Inhalte der Vorlesung Biopsychologie I. Zu den Inhalten gehören u.a. Neuroanatomie, Signalübertragung im Nervensystem sowie eine Einführung in die Sinnessysteme. Im Seminar geben die Studierenden kurze Präsentationen zu ausgewählten Themen der Vorlesung. Des Weiteren werden die Vorlesungsinhalte anhand von Fallbeispielen oder praktischen Anwendungen vertieft, veranschaulicht und diskutiert.

Das Seminar findet in Präsenz statt. Die Teilnahme am Seminar ist nur sinnvoll, wenn die Vorlesung Biopsychologie I zeitgleich belegt wird oder schon belegt wurde.

Alle Studierenden müssen im Rahmen des Seminars zu einem vorgegebenen Thema einen Kurzvortrag (20 Min) mit anschließender Diskussion vorbereiten. Aktive Mitarbeit in der Gruppendiskussion wird vorausgesetzt.
