Die Studierenden kennen die funktionelle Bedeutung der verschiedenen Bindegewebstypen und können Beispiele ihres jeweiligen Vorkommens im menschlichen Körper nennen. Sie erkennen die prinzipiellen und jeweils orts- und funktionstypischen Strukturelemente im mikroskopischen Präparat bzw. im mikroskopischen Bild.

Die Studierenden besitzen Handlungskompetenz, eine funktionell bedingte Vielfalt des Binde- und Stützgewebes in einer einfachen Form-Funktionsbeziehung zu erklären und ansatzweise eine Verbindung zu physiologischen sowie zu Pathomechanismen des passiven Bewegungsapparates (Bänder, Knochen, Knorpel, Gelenke) herzustellen.
