201112 Giftpflanzen und Pflanzengifte (S) (SoSe 2022)

In diesem Seminar werden Pflanzen und besonders deren Wirkstoffe aus unserer unmittelbaren Umgebung Wild und Kulturpflanzen aller Art bearbeitet. Das Seminar soll die Artenkenntnis verbessern und die Teilnehmer*innen für mögliche Gefahren durch Pflanzeninhaltsstoffe sensibilisieren. Die Veranstaltung dient dem Erkennen giftiger/berauschender Pflanzen auf der Fensterbank, der Terrasse, in Parks/Gärten und im Freiland (alles keine Exoten).

Es sollen die wichtigsten Familien/Arten, besonders aber deren Wirkstoffe und mögliche Therapiemaßnahmen in Präsentationen der Teilnehmer und des Veranstalters vorgestellt werden. Gerne können auch historische Aspekte aus der Pflanzenheilkunde mit einfließen. Kenntnisse über die teilweise enorme Giftigkeit der uns täglich umgebenden Pflanzen helfen Vergiftungen bei Kinder, Schüler*innen und Haustieren zu vermeiden.

Der Kurs ist für Lehramtsstudierende, aber auch für fachwissenschaftlich orientierte Studierende gleichermaßen geeignet.

Neben den rein fachlichen Aspekten, kann immer auch ein Bezug zur Schule geschaffen werden (Lehramtsstudierende, Schulgartenbiologie; was wächst auf der Fensterbank in der Klasse?).
