300041 Introduction to multivariate data analyses (S) (SoSe 2016)

Contents, comment

Participants of this course will get an overview or/ and refreshment of different possibilities in the analysis of multivariate data. We will start with a short repetition of descriptive statistics before we are going through correlation, cross tabs, variance analysis, different types of regression analysis and models for the detection of structures in the data (factor analysis, cluster analysis).
These statistical methods can be trained with the statistical software STATA within the linked tutorial 300310.
The results of the practical part will be discussed at the beginning from the following session.
