230372 Playing, Understanding, and Creating Games (BS) (SoSe 2024)

In this seminar, we will experience analog games as cultural practices by firsty playing a selection of games. We will then also analyze and understand them from a range of perspectives - this includes taking into account key concepts from game studies as well as exploring their potential for (language) teaching/learning settings. You will then have the chance to apply your kowledge by developing your own game and trying out your peers' ideas.

Notwendige Voraussetzungen: FsB vom 15.11.2023 (Einschreibung ab SoSe 2023)
Vor dem Besuch der Veranstaltungen in den Profilmodulen muss der Language Proficiency Test (23-ANG-Basis1) bestanden sein. Im Master of Education gilt diese Voraussetzung mit dem erfolgreichen Masterzugang als erbracht.
