391020 Validierung biotechnologischer Prozesse Theorie (V+S) (WiSe 2022/2023)

Die biotechnologische Herstellung von Wirkstoffen für den therapeutischen Einsatz steht im Mittelpunkt dieser Veranstaltung. Diese Biotherapeutika stellen eine wachsende Klasse von Arzneimitteln dar (ca. 20%), deren Umsätze alleine in Deutschland mehr als 6 Mrd. €/Jahr ausmachen. Im Einzelnen werden neben dem rechtlichen Rahmen der EU im Vergleich zur USA die verschiedenen Regelwerke und deren Bedeutung beschrieben. Die Anforderungen an ein Qualitätssicherungssystem und die diversen Bereiche der pharmazeutischen Produktion werden im Detail besprochen. Reinräume, Gerätequalifizierung, Wasser- und Dampfanlagen, Computervalidierung und Lüftungssysteme werden behandelt, um einen Einblick in die Produktion von Wirkstoffen mit Hilfe von gentechnisch veränderten Organismen zu geben. Darüber hinaus wird die Validierung analytischer Methoden und Prozessvalidierung besprochen. Im Seminar präsentieren die Teilnehmer usgewählte Aspekte der pharmazeutischen Produktion (z.B. Reinigungsvalidierung,
Monitoring etc.) aus der Literatur und diskutieren Chancen, Nutzen und Limitierungen der Techniken.
