230452 BPST Projekt "Diagnose und Förderung im Englischunterricht" - Berufsfeldbezogene Praxisstudie - Anglistik (Grundschule/Grundschule ISP/HRSGe/HRSGe ISP/GymGe) (BS) (SoSe 2019)

This class will prepare you for BPST Anglistik which you can do either at the Luisenschule (Realschule, predominantly in years 5 and 6) or at the Laborschule (year 3/4/5). During your placement, you will have to do a small teaching project. In order to make you practically fit for your placement and your project. This class will cover teaching methods, diagnosis of language learners' competences, fostering, differentiation and individualisation as well as lesson planning in the English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Classroom. Contentwise the class will focus on young EFL learners in primary school/lower secondary school settings. Because of this, the class is designed primarily for HRSGe and primary school students (both with ISP and without ISP). However, GymGe students can also take part. In either case, you have to study English as one of your subjects.
Furthermore, you will get to know the concepts of Luisenschule and Laborschule through day projects. They will take part on two extra days during the semester from approx. 8am - 2pm. Exact times and dates will follow. Participation in the day projects is obligatory.
The placement will take part in the semester break in one of the above mentioned schools. Please note that it is NOT possible to do the placement during the semester (i.e. "semesterbegleitend"). In the end, you will have to write a report about your placement.
