Das Seminar wird aktuelle gesellschaftliche Gegenwartsthemen der beiden Länder behandeln, die ihren Ausdruck in Filmen finden, die wir analysieren und mit anderen Medien in Verbindung setzen werden.
Das erste Ziel des Seminars liegt darin, sich einen breiten Überblick über die Themen zu verschaffen. Des Weiteren sollen die behandelten Themen aus einer vergleichenden Perspektive analysiert werden, wofür wir auch Filme aus anderen Ländern miteinbeziehen werden.
