Vergils Epos Aeneis zählt zu den berühmtesten Werken der lateinischen Literatur und gilt als das Nationalepos der Römer. Es erzählt die Geschichte von dem trojanischen Prinz Aeneas, der zusammen mit seinem Vater Anchises und seinem Sohn Iulus / Ascanius aus dem brennenden Troja entkommen kann und nach einer jahrelangen und zudem abenteuerreichen Irrfahrt über das Mittelmeer schließlich in der Landschaft Latium in Italien an Land geht und zum Stammvater der Römer wird. An Vergils Epos knüpfen sich eine Fülle von komplexen Fragen, die wir im Rahmen des Seminars fokussieren und diskutieren werden.
Das Seminar wird synchron per Zoom-Videokonferenz durchgeführt.
