In der abzählenden Kombinatorik entwickelt man Techniken, um diverse Abzählprobleme in diskreten, oft endlichen mathematischen Systemen zu lösen. Solche Techniken haben Anwendungen in verschiedensten Teilgebieten der Mathematik, aber auch etwa in der Informatik und Chemie.
In dem Proseminar sollen grundlegende Begriffe und Techniken der abzählenden Kombinatorik entwickelt werden.
