Das Seminar führt in die Grundlagen mündlicher wissenschaftlicher Kommunikation ein. Auf der Basis fachwissenschaftlicher Texte werden Referate bzw. Präsentationen vorbereitet und vorgetragen. Darüber hinaus wird das Format des Thesenpapiers eingeübt: Dazu gehören die Recherche, das Lesen und Auswerten relevanter Fachliteratur sowie das Formulieren von Thesen und eigenen Argumenten.

Die regelmäßige Teilnahme am Seminar sowie die Bearbeitung der Aufgaben zur Vor- und Nachbereitung der Sitzungen werden vorausgesetzt.
