220075 Die Anthropologie des Plinius (Naturalis historia Buch 7) (Ü) (SoSe 2012)

Die naturkundliche Enzyklopädie des älteren Plinius befasst sich in Buch 7 mit dem Menschen, wobei Aspekte der Humananthropologie zunächst überwiegen. Im zweiten Teil liegt eine Art „Guinness World Record Book“ vor – Menschen mit besonderen Leistungen werden vorgestellt. Wir wollen die Texte gemeinsam auf Latein lesen. Grammatikalische Probleme können nur in Ausnahmefällen thematisiert werden; daher sind brauchbare Lateinkenntnisse unbedingte Voraussetzung für eine sinnvolle Teilnahme. Für einen erfolgreichen Abschluss im Modul 2.1 ist eine Übersetzungsklausur mit einigen kleineren Fragen zu bestehen.
