Menschliche Gefühle sind keine quasi-naturwüchsigen jenseits von Gesellschaft existierenden psychischen Reservate, sondern sie entwickeln sich individuell und kollektiv innerhalb einer Matrix gesellschaftlicher Beziehungen, hängen somit von kulturellen Gepflogenheiten sowie von ökonomischen und politischen Gegebenheiten ab. Im Seminar soll zunächst aus verschiedenen theoretischen Perspektiven geklärt werden, was eigentlich ein Gefühl ist und wie dieses von benachbarten Begriffen wie Emotion, Affekt, Empfindung etc. abgegrenzt wird. Sodann beschäftigt sich die Veranstaltung mit der Sozialisation und Soziologie von Gefühlen und legt dabei einen Schwerpunkt auf die geschlechtsspezifische Entwicklung, Verarbeitung und Verbalisierung von Gefühlen und den verschiedenen Formen der Gefühlsregulierung.

Keine Vorkenntnisse, aber unbedingte Anwesenheit bei der Vorbesprechung, regelmäßige Teilnahme und Bereitschaft zur Übernahme von Kurzreferaten.
