Wie sind Wortbedeutungen im Gehirn gespeichert und wie werden sie abgerufen, wenn wir Wörter verstehen oder produzieren. Im Seminar werden wir aktuelle Studien zum Thema Embodiment und Sprache (auch: embodied cognition) lesen und diskutieren, wobei sowohl Daten von neurotypischen sprachgesunden Personen als auch von Menschen mit erworbenen motorischen und / oder sprachlichen Störungen (u.a. Parkinson, Aphasie, semantische Demenz) besprochen werden. Die Konsequenzen für Sprachtherapie und den Fremdsprachenunterricht werden diskutiert.
