230147 Transkription und Annotation 2: Forschungsinstrument Annotation (S) (SoSe 2017)

In diesem Seminar werden wir uns mit der in Transkription & Annotation 1 kurz eingeführten Datenaufbereitungsmethode Annotation vertieft auseinander setzen. Dazu gehört zum einen der Einstieg in die Annotation von Texten und zum anderen die systematische und auf eine Forschungsfrage hin orientierte Annotation von Audio- und Videodateien.
Themen im Seminar werden sein:

+ Annotation und Forschungsfragen/-disziplinen: was passt wie zusammen?
+ (ganz kurze) Einführung in die Korpuslinguistik und den Zusammenhang quantitativer und qualitativer Methoden
+ Was ist und wofür brauch ich ein Annotationsschema?
+ Welches Tool/welche Software für welche Art von Annotation?
+ Wie werte ich Annotationen aus?
+ Was (und wie groß) ist ein Korpus?

Diese Themen werden natürlich nicht nur theoretisch diskutiert sondern vor allem auch auf Daten angewendet. Deswegen findet der Kurs im Multimedialabor (Computerraum) statt und ist auf 20 Teilnehmerinnen begrenzt.
